- Do I need to register with an NHS dentist?
- Not in the way you register with a GP. There's no catchment area, and you can go to any practice that has NHS appointments free. That's why it's worth asking several at once.
- What if none of them are taking NHS patients?
- Then you know in minutes rather than over an afternoon of calls. The summary shows any waiting lists and private prices they mentioned. Your local integrated care board (ICB) can also tell you where NHS appointments are available.
- I'm in pain. Should I use this?
- No. For urgent dental care, call NHS 111, who can find an urgent dental service near you. If it's an emergency, call 999.
- What does NHS dental treatment cost?
- In England, NHS treatment is charged in bands: £27.90 for a check-up (Band 1), £76.60 if you need fillings or extractions (Band 2), and £332.10 for crowns, bridges or dentures (Band 3). Some people get it free. Our calls are free for your first 3 each month, then £0.99.
- What does it cost?
- 3 calls a month are free with a verified UK mobile number, no card needed. After that, £0.99 per connected call, or less in a bundle: 11 calls for £9.99 or 24 for £19.99. No subscription, and no charge if nobody answers.
- Will they know it's an AI?
- If asked, Dito says it's an AI assistant calling on your behalf. It never pretends to be you, and it only shares the details your task needs.
